We meet on the 9th of May in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua on board Montana.
For all who look for a new sailing challenge – the journey back over the Atlantic. Here no trade winds are supporting us with stable wind and weather. A daily updated weather routing is absolut necessary to adapt to the changing circumstances. Montana shows its true capability here, she is designed and built exactly for these passages.
After heading north at the beginning we expect to come into the area of the expected westerly winds and we will change our course to the east and put direct course onto Faial. The arrival in Horta with a first drink in the “Peter Cafe Sport” is an unforgettable moment in every sailors life.
Sailing yacht “Montana” is an S&S Swan 48 and is the number 28 of 46 built models of this series built by Nautor’s in Finland from 1971 to 1975. The Nautor’s Swan yachts have always been called luxury class sailing yachts and are considered to be the safest and most beautiful in the world. The yacht, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, convinces by excellent sailing characteristics and high comfort for the crew.
The ship is in an extraordinarily good condition and is still very close to the original design. Read more

Safety always comes first for him. He has the experience of several Atlantic crossings and has been offering sailing trips in the Caribbean for six years, that’s why he knows the most beautiful islands and beaches.
