We meet on the 11th of January in Port Louis Marina, St. Georg’s on Grenada on board Montana.
We are sailing in the paradisiacal sailing area of the Windward Islands between Grenada and the Grenadines. With its fabulous Tobago Cays, the Grenadines are undisputedly the most beautiful part of the Lesser Antilles.
We start our trip in Grenada, where a lot of bays are waiting for us to be explored. The rainforest offers sensational hiking and hidden waterfalls. The capital, St. Georges, is a busy town with a terrific spice market. Here, we can buy the supplies for our trip. Snorkelling fans can visit the underwater sculpture park.
A first longer tack leads us to Carriacou, where we go at anchor in Tyrell Bay. A walk to a lonely beach is on our schedule here. For the next days, we will enjoy the Grenadines. Union Island with its Happy Sunset Bar, Mayreau with lobster dinner on the beach and of course the Tobago Cays. Here the Caribbean comes up with its pearl of beauty: Uninhabited islands, palms, white beaches with turquoise blue water, diving with rays and turtles.
Parties, of course, will never come up short in the Caribbean. If we are lucky, we experience a Full Moon Party on Union Island or Carriacou.
On our return, we can sail a bit more sportingly. Depending on the wind situation we can sail around the east side of Grenada. Her Montana is fully in her element.
On our holiday trips, we can alter the stops on our trips according to the wishes of our guests.
