ARC+ takes sailors across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to the Caribbean via the Cape Verde archipelago. Originally launched in response to the ever-growing popularity of the ARC, the route via the Cape Verde islands is now firmly established as a standalone rally with its own unique identity.
The Cape Verde islands are ideally placed for boats to sail ‘south until the butter melts’ and the route includes a 3 to 5-day stopover at Mindelo, São Vicente providing crews with an opportunity to discover the enchanting local culture, lively nightlife and bustling food markets that make the Cape Verdes a fascinating place to visit.
Two Caribbean destinations are available – sail to IGY Rodney Bay Marina in Saint Lucia, or Blue Lagoon Marina in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
ARC Plus on Montana
We are sailing together with approx. 150 Yachts across the Atlantic: The atmosphere, the team spirit, the experience is still without comparison.
When we arrive early in the Caribbean, we will sail here a little bit more.
The exact dates of the ARC+ next year are not published yet, but it could be like this:
10 Nov: Start in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
15-17 Nov: Arrival in Mindelo, Sao Vicente
21 Nov: Restart from Cape Verde
3-8 Dec: Arrival in Rodney Bay Marina, St. Lucia
11 Dec: Prizegiving in St. Lucia

The skipper Markus Bocks has many years of experience as a professional skipper and is in possession of the highest-ranking sailing licenses (Yachtmaster Ocean, Sporthochseeschifferschein). Safety always comes first for him. He has the experience of several Atlantic crossings and has been offering sailing trips in the Caribbean for six years, that’s why he knows the most beautiful islands and beaches.
